A Russian pilot tried to ‘dogfight’ American jets over Syria in an effort to provoke the US.
Russian pilots have been buzzing US fighter jets over the last several weeks.
This is the new norm under a Joe Biden presidency.
A nuclear power is trying to provoke the US and draw us into World War 3.
In March two Russian Su-27 aircraft attacked a US Reaper drone and dumped fuel on the drone over the Black Sea.
CNN reported:
Russian pilots tried to “dogfight” US jets over Syria, according to a spokesman for US Central Command, part of a recent pattern of more aggressive behavior.
The attempts have happened in several of the most recent instances of aggressive behavior from Russian pilots, Col. Joe Buccino said.
The Russian pilots do not appear to be trying to shoot down American jets, a US official told CNN, but they may be trying to “provoke” the US and “draw us into an international incident.”
In military aviation, dogfighting is engaging in aerial combat, often at relatively close ranges.
A video released by US Central Command from April 2 shows a Russian SU-35 fighter jet conducting an “unsafe and unprofessional” intercept of a US F-16 fighter jet.

They always sound so pussified when they make that same statement. If you pinch your nose shut when you say it, it would sound about right.
Anyway, they are there at the invitation of teh Syrian government and we aren’t there under anything legal. But in any case, we are supposedly there to fight ISIS, right?
That is why the Syrian government has the Russians there.
In reality, our isolated force there is designed only to support ISIS/FSA/Al Nusra/SDF, or whatever they call it this week in order to overthrow Assad.
So was Trump lying?
You do know he spilled the beans with his comment.
And I think Trump would say it’s the principle of the matter, not the amount of oil.
Project for a New American Century proxy war.
I didn’t watch the YouTube video. All that I am saying is that Syria is not a major producer of oil.
“Freedom and Democracy.”
“A second video from April 18 shows a Russian fighter that violated coalition airspace and came within 2,000 feet of a US aircraft, a distance a fighter jet can cover in a matter of seconds.”
There is no such entity as “coalition airspace” over Syria. And a US fighter pilot complaining that an adversary fighter came within 2000 feet is a complete pussy. (”Adversary” because the Russian jet is there to fight the Syrian rebels)
So why then are we there for the oil, as Trump said, if they aren’t a major producer?
Oh LOOK, he found Google Translate! LOL
So will the US say that parts of Ukrainian airspace are now Russian airspace if they say parts of Syrian airspace are now “coalition airspace?”
Freedom and Democracy... we should try that here in the USA sometime. (And yes, I know we are not a democracy and don’t want to be. I am merely using their term for what they are supposedly spreading.)
Ukraine? I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we do indeed do that soon. When the Uke military implodes, as it is currently doing, there will be a ceasefire. We will send the Poles into western Ukraine and declare the Ukrainian rump state NATO airspace in some manner.
Just watch.
And that’s the hypocritical, neocon/neoliberal “Rules- based order” that Biden crows about and some Freepers think is just wonderful.
An aggressive communist country that hates our guts
Too bad so sad
Doesn’t matter if Russians don’t want it. Putin’s desires are that matter
He ain’t the nice guy some pretend he is
I don’t worship Trump but this sort of thing definitely did not happen when he was in office.
It would never have gotten to this point. Either because of diplomacy or a firm response.
Now we are a joke.
Hell, next the Russians will fly balloons over us, too.
No need to ask him. And I think you know why as logic points to one answer: Deny the oil to Syrian coffers plus it’s yet another proxy war.
No other reason why Obama would send the troops in.
General Wesley Clark already spilled the beans on that part about PNAC years ago to those who are informed.
“This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it.”
And Tucker Carlson long ago dismantled the notion Obama sent the troops in because of a claimed chemical weapons attack.
So what?
Last I heard, "American Jets" were non autonomous machinery and cannot be provoked.
