But over the last 15+ years, I have seen so many people say they were dropping Fox, then they forget they did that and the cycle starts all over. So, I expect most people will forget this eventually. Fox was never a "conservative" network.
And the reality is a lot of the people went downhill. Hannity was good in the last 90s on radio, but it's been 20 years since he was good. O'Reilly got worse, but he was always problematic.
I just don't trust television news.
But how come Trump supporters are ignoring that Carlson just plain doesn't like Trump?
Because they are on the same page. I don’t know if they really like each other, but they stand for the same thing.
Maybe more folks will see this aspect you see as Tucker makes his next moves as he gets out of his Fox contract.
It’s not just me. I wish there was a way to go back and find old posts. I doubt you can find anything about Carlson before 2015 that was positive. He was very disliked. People have short memories. But I’m 1/64th elephant. At least that’s what Elizabeth Warren told me.
Tucker said he was angry at Trump for a time, but his anger towards Fox News execs, otoh, was long and pervasive.
I don’t have to agree with Tucker in everything
A lot of people don't like Trump as a personality but love him as a President. Only the dimmest of the dim with a 3 second memory don't remember how much better everything was with him at the helm.
Better than Biden, sure. But imagine if we had a conservative president.
Remember, Trump appointed Jerome Powell as Fed chief, then Buden reappointment him. That’s bad.
What is this, bash Trump & Tucker night?
People can change. Tucker seems to have done that.
I know I have over 25 years....
I always thought Hannity was a blowhard.
Yep
bttt
Sean Hannity does his job with the urgency and loyalty of a man who knows that he’d be selling used cars for a living if he didn’t have his current media gig.
Yes. That’s always been obvious.
Yet another opinion on what’s “really” going on at Fox News. This is probably the 50th or so one I’ve seen since Tucker was canned.
The Pro-Big Bank, Pro-Big Business Moderate Republicans
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
These are precisely the people who are enabling the Leftist, Socialist, Communist, Democrat Party to accomplish their goal of destroying our Constitutional Republic.
Hubby and I have been discussing this same issue recently.
Both the Democrats and the GOP want the Republican voters to return to the Romney/Ryan-supporting voters of a couple decades ago. They want to convince us to vote for the party that supports large corporations and “reasonable immigration reform”, i.e. amnesty. They want us to once again concede the cultural wars and ignore the fact that doing so for decades while being told that such would remain on college campuses is what has brought us to this point.
If we return to supporting the GOP establishment then they might consider letting a few GOP candidates win their elections since they could be counted on to support most of the policies of the left without too much opposition.
This insistence of GOP voters in wanting Constitutional-supporting representatives has cramped the style of both parties in D.C. The GOP recognizes that they cannot win without the support of Trump voters. I’ve asked before what they plan to do and how they expect to win without those votes. I believe the plan is to convince us to abandon our principles and return to supporting their own.
Or, it could be that they prefer being in the permanent minority. As such they do not have to actually do anything but can still ask for donations and make promises they have no intention or even chance in keeping.
Yes it does. Hannity is 100% a FOX owned guy.
