Yes. But. It’s a huge loss to not be able to speak to Carlson’s gigantic audience. Carlson, unlike any other figure, was able to push a non-ruling-class narrative out to a very broad audience.
I did not always agree with his takes. But he was a hugely important media figure and there is no place for him to go that will garner 1/10th the audience he had on Fox.
I would certainly follow his podcasts, if he goes that direction. But even the biggest podcasters in the world (eg Joe Rogan) have an audience that is a tiny fraction of Carlson’s fox news audience.
Actually, this might be better for viewers who don’t want to wait thru Watter’s World. Now you get the broadcast at your own convenience. Look at the Megyn Kelly clip. It’s as good or better (no commercials) than what she had at FOX.
