I'm afraid you're right about voters. I was in a chat room recently and the talk turned to politics. One of the members said that Newsom could eat a live baby right in front of her and she would still vote for him. Of all the crazy hypothetical scenarios she could have used, eating a live baby was the one she went with. My blood ran cold and I left the chat.
