"Gentle eccentric" describes him pretty well. He was a local fixture around the Phoenix area before the Jan 6 business. Professionally, he was a local voice actor, but he was also a notorious attention seeker showing up at a wide at a wide variety of public events in his shaman get-up and getting up to take the mike if he was allowed to. He was allowed to speak at some of the 2022 Stop the Steal rallies until the organizers realized what a crank he was and how bad an image it was to have him up front. I think the guy finally got in over his head on Jan 6 and the Feds simply wanted to make an example out of him.
Very interesting.It was obvious from early on that he was a harmless flake. His biggest mistake was cutting an extremely photogenic figure with his horns and face paint. It made him irresistible to the media and the Democrats. They needed a “face of the insurrection” and he fit the bill.
