It’s really going to sting if Biden starts a war with China and no one shows up to the draft. They can try to muscle people all they want, but it’s hard to recruit a blue-haired 300 lb 5’8” male who hates his country and thinks the military is a fascist organization.
Biden will invite China to come on over before he would ever start a war. I expect China to simply make an announcement that they now rule America.
Well, a war with China would be over in 15 minutes. One side will crash the other’s power grid and Internet before the other can respond, and that will be that. The US has far too few people to occupy a defeated China, and China would not waste time occupying a defeated US - they would assert control over the rest of Asia, first, and wait for surviving factions in the US to destroy each other.
The need for drafting cannon fodder will be close to zero, either way.

How difficult is it to reinstate the draft? That may have to be done if volunteers don’t show up.
