We have a shared interest in Ukraine because Russia is a dangerous influence and a bad actor in world affairs. To ignore it is like ignoring Hitler. We aid them to fight Russia so we don't have to fight Russia and this makes sense to me.

By embargoing Russia we also dissuade China from attacking Taiwan. An embargo of China would be a lot more effective on them than on Russia. We also prevent Russia and China from joining each other in further misadventures. Ia sure even you could see the disater that would be.

This stupid war is draining our assets and will make the situation with China worse. And besides, Putin is NOT Hitler. Only Hitler was Hitler. Saying something doesn’t make it true - they called Trump ‘Hitler’ too - and us.

You have to make a better case than name calling.
