Why would a king, powerful, wealthy and handsome, have one of his best soldiers sent into a dangerous battle and killed so he could screw the soldier’s wife?

David didn’t have him killed so he could “screw” her. He had him killed to cover up his affair with her. Much longer and more drawn out sin showing just how far even a “man after God’s own heart” will go once he compromises and then delays repentance.

Sounds like she was the Meghan Markle of her time.;-)

Men are powerless in the presence of a beautiful woman. Especially if she bathing on a roof top.
