We think very much alike. Recently I've been referring to them as the "Big Gulp Generation". And they deserve it (the problem is, however, that I don't, because I did more than my part to push against it).

You’re essentially right about the self-centered boomers, but the problem goes beyond that. Basically, the Left took a wrecking ball to the country while the Right watched.
It does little good to expose and whine about the Left’s machinations if there’s no action to stop them and reverse their insanity. Americans were too comfortable and no one cared enough to resist the Left in meaningful ways, or demand that our representatives do it. We elected a bunch of self-serving, unresponsive clowns and never bothered to hold them accountable.
And now the country has sunk into a dysfunctional cultural morass. With more of the same ahead because people are too weak and passive to defend their own self preservation.
