Bring back the draft ... but not just military, for all levels of government.
Every citizen, at some point in their career, gets a random lateral transfer to a federal, state or local government position for a few years.
I think we could get a government of, by and for the people again.
I share your observations about Ben Shapiro and stopped listening to him for the same reason. Tucker could use a voice coach to help him sound less like teenage boy whose voice is changing.
I don’t ever remember seeing either of you on TV or in hearings.

You would think that Taibbi and others would be subjected to this and publicly say: "We're done. The Democrat party and the left are pure and simply fascists." But they don't.

I took me a while to decide on leaving the Democrat voting plantation. I did not vote for RR or GHWbush. I voted for Ron Paul or other Libertarian candidate. Back then I had hopes that others would join. Then experience showed me that the D’s and R’s literally OWN the monopoly. They get automatic entry, anyone else has almost 0 chance statistically.
Literally they have no chance. Ross Perot was great, but he faced the Deep State and they scared the living shi’ite out of him. He was Trump but more wonky, and technical. He could have never confronted the Beast, and it is a Real Live Beast.
Only Christ can destroy it, but Republicans/Conservatives have the best chance to hold the line.
You mean they will In Your Opinion. No one can know what will happen. It takes a while to turn a 180. It is really not that far. Classical Liberalism is the best party, but they have been gone since the early 19th Century. Conservatives are a farce, as there is nothing to conserve.
Simply put, the rule of law. Strict interpretation of the Constitution, and cutting the Federal Beast down to its legal limits. THAT should be the goal for modern day Liberals, but they lie and are statists. That should be the goal for the Conservatives, but they lie too, and are statists. Libertarianism is the way, as a philosophy. It can’t work in strict practice, but it really is the basis of the Founders. Classical Liberals are Libertarian at their heart. Of course with some differences. Nothing is perfect.
