I am a Trump supporter. Always have been.

But, he is losing support in FL attacking Gov. DeSantis. The winning ballot would be Pres Trump/VP DeSatis. But, now this.

The GOP basically uses the Trump name to constantly beg for money for random candidates. This also does not help his ‘favor-ability’ rating.

*************

DeSantis doesn’t want to play 2nd fiddle to the 45th President.
He thinks he’s better than Trump and doesn’t want the DeSantis *brand ‘dirtied up’ with an association with Trump.

It won’t matter what DeSantos does, he won’t be the 2024 nominee, nor will he ever get my vote moving forward.

* Saying DeSantos has a brand is being kind to DeSantos, he’s a youngster with a lot of hype.

LOL. This statement has no basis in fact. None. I and my family live in Florida. We are all very active in Florida Republican politics. Our governor in a head-to-head matchup in this state would lose to President Trump.
Desantis recently went to The Villages to test the waters. The turnout was modest.
The Villages is one of the most Conservative areas in the state.
President Trump doesn’t even need to go there. If he makes any public appearance anywhere in Florida, there are Golf Cart parades in support. Huge Flotillas at numerous coastal cities. Enthusiasm is off the charts.
Desantis cannot generate even a small fraction of this level of enthusiasm.

Yesterday I saw an interesting interview with NH gov Sununu (sp?). He sounded like someone centrist Pubs could vote for and even some Dems.
