I can’t doubt that. We still have no national interest in Ukraine and we don’t need to be at odds with Russia. We have common interests we could be focusing on.
Russia doesn’t have common interests vis a vis the US.
Given its economy is something like that of Saudi Arabia, its primary interest is imperialism.
