My point about corruption is that the real problem is in DC, not Ukraine.
We should stop squabbling about Ukraine and figure out how to get rid of the current regime, which seems to have succeeded in cementing itself permanently into power. Any suggestions?
Leaving Europe would be the best thing to happen to the US since we got foolishly involved there in 1917. It’s none of our business what happens there. My point about corruption is that it is much easier to grift overseas. There isn’t much accountability in a combat zone generally speaking. If we weren’t involved in wars of choice all over the planet there wouldn’t be a need for forward bases and there wouldn’t be so much money flowing around to steal. Every war we have been involved in since the Cold War was a war we didn’t have to fight, a war of choice. We didn’t need to fight any of them and they all followed the same basic script. We blow in, usually on a lie, we kill a bunch of people, a few grifters get very rich and we leave with the place in worse shape than it was when we came in, our country is poorer and all sides hate us. We should probably stop doing that but the grifters want to keep that game going so here we are, starting WW3 now and doing the same thing yet again. Sweet, huh?
