There was a Get Smart episode where a consulting detective told Smart a leftover cigarette had lipstick so at least one woman had been at the scene. Then “but this second cigarette butt without it means either a man or a woman who didn’t wear makeup was present. But non-smokers, even several of them could have been here, too.”
Smart: So actually this crime scene room could have been filled to overflowing with people.
Classic comedy gold with Get Smart. I loved that show.
