In a close election cheating could swing it. Republicans have screwed the pooch over abortion. That makes a GOP landslide a very unlikely thing since they are chasing a pool of 25% percent of the vote in the primary. You only need 13% to swing it, and that 13% is taken up by a special interest group of single-issue voters for a low-polling policy stance. The way to defeat that is for Independents to vote in the primary enmasse. That should get rid of all the non-feasible candidates. If you don’t like them voting in the Republican primary, and defeating single-issue candidates in the primary like Doug Mastriano, then feel free to point them at the Democrats so that they will dispatch candidates like former first Lady Michelle Obama.
