Former President Donald Trump called for the U.S. to shoot down the Chinese spy balloon that is currently over the central United States.
Trump made his comments in a Friday post on Truth Social, writing: “SHOOT DOWN THE BALLOON.”

China killed 1 Million Americans! They are our Foriegn Enemy.
That’s pretty brilliant. If they don’t shoot down the balloon it shows everyone that they don’t care about China spying on us. If they do Trump can say “See....they listened to me!”
That is what we want. Take it and just see WTH they got under that thing.
This ballon is about 12 miles up. Spysats I believe are about 600 to 1,200 miles high.

Maybe not “shoot” it, but definitely it should be retrieved somehow.
I’m hoping we’re not hearing anything because they don’t want to reveal much before they go to retrieve it.
Everyone has satellites in low orbit circling the earth. This thing is flying across US airspace at 19,000 ft. Its a blatant provocation. And a second one on the way. We cannot allow this to stand. Frankly I’m sure the ChiComs are laughing their ESA’s off because they probably can’t believe we haven’t shot it down yet.
Because a couple thousand sick Chinamen could just fly everywhere, over and over, in the US getting people sick without drawing global attention and blame.

What s the kinetic energy on a couple hundred pounds falling from 60,000 feet? Who is going to catch that?
It’s not high enough. A nuclear bomb would weigh too much to put up in a balloon.

It would be quite funny if this balloon actually is the highest level of spy tech the Chicoms have. All of those other satellites they have launched into space don’t actually work so they went low tech with this piece of junk.
The Chinese are saying, “Damn, just think of the money we could have saved on ICBMs!”
And I suppose everyone in the Congress will just stand down and let it happen. Has anyone voiced concern or consternation or anger over this yet?
