I voted for Trump twice, but will not do so again. His appeal has worn off. The sooner his supporters (and Trump himself) realizes this, the sooner we can find that same political/economic/etc. astuteness wrapped up in a more grace-gifted package.
Not going to happen.
And there are millions of Trump Supporters who came into the GOP Electorate, only because of Trump.
Millions of those Trump Supporters will not vote for DeSantis if he attempts to run in 2024, because, like Trump, they will , and do, view this as being Disloyal by DeSantis, and also, will view DeSantis as a Traitor to MAGA.
DeSantis should man-up, quit being a Politician, and start being a leader by declaring definitively that he is not running for POTUS 2024 and is supporting President Trump for POTUS 2024.

Trump has become indefensible. He has become a caricature of himself by falsely believing that anything and everything coming out of his mouth is what his, up to this point, base is looking for from him. This is not the case. Maturity involves owning and learning from one’s mistakes. Up to this point, he hasn’t done that, but has instead turned off a sizable portion of the folks that put him into office. And they are saying, bring on the next iteration of this man’s politics, but without the lack of discipline.
I suspect they expect more from their leaders than what he has been displaying in recent days.
