Do you know what the definition of propaganda is?

Yes, Slow Poke. Most of us do.

If something is factual, it is not propaganda.

No, Slow Poke, that is not even close to the defining characteristic of "propaganda".

It is a common technique of skilled propagandists to include some facts in their narrative. Effective propaganda is rarely composed of lies and only lies.

Here's a better definition for you, Slow Poke:

Propaganda is communication that is primarily used to influence or persuade an audience to further an agenda, which may not be objective and may be selectively presenting facts to encourage a particular synthesis or perception, or using loaded language to produce an emotional rather than a rational response to the information that is being presented.

Propaganda can be found in news and journalism, government, advertising, entertainment, education, and activism[2] and is often associated with material which is prepared by governments as part of war efforts, political campaigns, health campaigns, revolutionaries, big businesses, ultra-religious organizations, the media, and certain individuals such as soapboxers.

With that more accurate definition in mind it's quite clear to all objective readers that you are engaged in a propaganda operation here on Free Republic. As just one simple piece of evidence: how many Free Republic posters create endless threads and post 20 or more unanswered articles every day for months.

The only other thread which was vaguely like this was (is) the Q Anon thread. And that was set up at the specific request of Free Republic's owner to contain the highly contentious Q topic from spreading into every thread on the board.

And of course each Q thread runs until it gets to about 2,000 posts, from hundreds of different Freepers. That's a far cry from your pathetic little threads which are routinely 50% you and your co-conspirator.

If you had to hit a '2000 legit responses' threshold of participation before refreshing your thread you'd still be on your first post, not your 100th (or whatever it is.)

propaganda: false or misleading information

I posted Portugal is planning to send 4 Leopard 2A6 to Ukraine.

Is that false or misleading?

Is the real number 3 or 5. Send corrections so they can get posted.

Your beloved Ukrainian military have lost more ground. They denied it for 10 days, but now they have fessed up:

Ukraine admits withdrawal from Donbas town of Soledar after ‘months of heavy fighting’

“After months of heavy fighting, including over the past weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine left [Soledar] and retreated along the outskirts to pre-prepared positions,” military spokesman Sergey Cherevaty told the news outlet.

The long Ukrainian lie that they had not lost Soledar became too ridiculous to sustain:

Russian forces had already claimed control of the settlement. On 11 January, leader of the Wagner group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, had declared victory on behalf of his mercenary outfit, stating “Wagner units have taken the entire area of Soledar”.

The Ukrainian military previously disputed those claims and said its forces were still contesting areas of Soledar. But Mr Cherevaty’s statement confirms the suspicions of foreign governments and open-source investigators tracking the conflict.

You amplified these false claims on previous threads, but, whatever. Now it's great that we can all move forward without any more arguments about the false, Ukrainian propaganda claims that they are still contesting for control of the city.

It's a good lesson for you Slow Poke. Because this is what we see the Ukrainazis doing repeatedly: making questionable claims over and over, and then finally relenting and telling the truth only when an overwhelming body of independent evidence makes their claims transparently ridiculous.

With that in mind, it appears we have more Russian victories to look forward to soon. (Well at least those of us not supporting the Kiev Klan, that is.)

Russian military analysts predicted that taking control of Soledar would lead to the fall of Bakhmut and then further gains in the Donbas region that Mr Putin claims as Russian territory. Russian war correspondents have since reported further progress in the region.

I like Speedy’s format a lot.

It’s a great service to those of us looking to stay abreast of the momentous events taking place in the Ukraine.

It is a curated collection of reports, conveniently organized into separate topical posts, so those of us in the regular user group can have several sidebar discussions, according to our expertise and interests.

He puts his 15-20 posts/links up early in the day, and we build on it through the day - sometimes past midnight, in my case.

It is a really great resource when big things happen, like the destruction of the Kerch Bridge, the sinking of the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the massive Russian retreat from the whole North of the Ukraine, the massive Russian retreat from Kharkiv Oblast and the effective destruction of the Russian 1st Guards Tank Division (Guard of Moscow), the liberation of Kherson, or even just another Russian General being killed or fired. The big story is post#1 each day - the gradual demilitarization of Russia, as the old Soviet stockpiles are expended, and the Russian economy and federal budget sink below the levels that would be needed to replace them - the relatively rapid flame out of Russia into a weak rump State, an effective vassal of China.

I agree.
perhaps these trolls are getting paid based on the number of replies?
It makes no sense why they keep posting propaganda to themselves.
