I like the piece, but I think there are too many holes in it.

Every observer knows that this usurper’s mental deterioration is proceeding at a fast clip. Every interaction with the press demonstrates that he is the textbook case of a 25th Amendment removal.

The problem here is that the Vice President has to initiate this removal. That means that Kamala Harris, who slept her way to the top to be the first woman Vice President, would provide the icing on the cake to then be the woman who slept her way to the top to then take out the boss and take his job.

Talk about a historic first for women!

The Constitution allows for the creation by Congress of a committee to determine the fitness of the President, but I can't see McCarthy agreeing to this because it can then be used against a future Republican President, once established. Pelosi floated this idea already to get rid of President Trump.

But the Democrats cannot allow such an impeachment to go forward; they simply must cut it off at the pass. Each such issue exposes the complicity of the entire modern Democratic Party. It is not Joe Biden alone who breaks the law, after all: it is Democrat Party policy to break the law. It has been for years.

The Democrats are so fixated on the identity politics of historic "firsts" that I can't believe that they would willingly accept the historic stain of being the party with the first President to actually be removed from office via impeachment.

If they can force Biden to resign due to this particular scandal, the rest of the Democratic Party is untouched

The Democrats would then create another historic first: the first "anchor baby" president who was a child of neither parent being an American citizen. We would have a "triple-citizenship" President, an Indian-Jamaican-American President.

Just imagine, the Democrats attacked Trump for alleged mishandling of documents, and now they might throw out their own sitting president for what looks to the layman like exactly the same crime. Wouldn’t that be a feather in their caps, making them look like the honorable party, making them look like heroes?

This assumes that the investigation stops cold right there. If the investigation into the nature of the documents continues, then the question turns to the Obama administration and how: 1) Joe came to take these documents amidst Obama's security regime, 2) what were these documents and how did they relate to Obama-Biden policy in Ukraine, Iran, and the United Kingdom, 3) what did Obama know about what was disclosed in those documents, 4) was Obama involved in the leaking of Biden's possession of these documents, and 5) what else might Obama have been trying to hide by outing his former Vice President at this time?

It's not as clean a coup d'état as some might make it out to be, and it might be another Democrat Party first if they actually engineered and executed a coup to take out our sitting government.

And it would leave future voters to wonder what the Democrats might resort to next if the 2024 election doesn't go their way?

PJ, I am not disagreeing with you. I think perhaps you missed a couple of lines.

My thesis is that there are all these good, legitimate reasons to throw out, Joe Biden, but they aren’t going to happen, primarily because they would reflect so badly on Democrats. My thesis is, therefore that they settled on the document miss handling issue, because they believed that it would not reflect badly as Democrats, that it was their only way of getting rid of him without severe collateral damage across their party.

And then, in my final summation, I point out that the cadre who dreamed this up, did not anticipate how the documents would all reveal proof of the Biden family’s more severe crimes.

So yes, you and I are essentially in agreement. :-)
