No one said anything about making a case for declassification. I was commenting on the reason for them being sought after in the first place, that is, who noticed they were missing and set the whole thing in motion?

We NEVER EVER get answers to those questions in any scandal. Or we get concocted BS stories like J6 or this case.
We still don’t know how Watergate got started and who leaked.
The person who probably noticed they were missing would be the archive ‘librarian’ the same person who went after Trump. Check out reply 11 on this thread... there’s another possible connection with the President of U Penn.
