It wouldn't. Again, I was simply commenting on the origin of the search for the documents, which hasn't been told. If the archivist did it, why wait so long in this case as opposed to President Trump's case?

So I am wondering (hoping) that the Hunter investigation LEOs went looking for them and found them AWOL.

I’m guessing the bias toward Democrats is based on the assumption of ‘elite’ innocence. The ‘elites’ give each other passes.

The archivists would assume Biden’s reason for not turning classified documents back would be ‘simple mistakes’. So of course he wouldn’t ‘leak’ to the press or put pressure on Biden. Biden lies easily and DC idiots get their jobs based on ‘powerful grandfather’, sexual kink, right private school, correct ‘victim groups’ etc ETC... - everything EXCEPT MERIT.

So the excuse was bought. The FBI is corrupt and equally ‘staffed’ and the DOJ might as well be a commie front group.

When Biden couldn’t produce - people started to panic... they can only go so far with superior attitude. And lots of folks might be going to prison for ‘going along’...

One theory is that the archivist wasn't bothered by the possibility that Biden had classified documents. When the likelihood of a Republican Congress in 2023 beginning investigations and hearings, the archivist became concerned that he/she would be called to testify. "Why did you treat Biden differently than Trump?" So the archivist, anticipating a Republican takeover, belatedly started a process on Biden.
