Just imagine if the investigation of all crimes would just simply end if the defendant just didn’t answer questions.

The absurdity of the above is instead an indication that the teacher’s actions aren’t criminal, and shouldn’t be viewed as such.

smolletting: Being so convinced there is a boogeyman out there but being frustrated by not being able to find him, so you justify concocting a false aggressor so that you can tell everyone you were right and you can finally play the victim.

I can't be sure, but I think that the prof claimed that he had received a "racist" letter (my response: So what?).

So there was as yet no defendant in this case, but rather only a complainant.

I infer that, after initially complaining about having received a "racist" letter, the prof then simply refused to cooperate further with the police.

Case closed!
