Sort of pointless, but nothing better to do.

Excess Deaths are and always have been the gold standard.

But THE FIRST STEP in understanding them is March 2020.

Scroll waaaaay down to where there is a button that says Update Dashboard. Just above that are some clickable selections. Select Weekly Deaths By Age.

Then Update Dashboard.

There are different colored lines, for each of the 2+ years of the virus. Select the 2020 (red)color and look at the peak in early 2020 — April/May timeframe. Concentrate, of course, on the elderly age groups. See that red peak about week 16ish? That’s April/May.
