Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO) tweeted on Wednesday that nominee for Speaker of the House Byron Donalds (R-FL) is a "prop" being used by Republicans to push a "policy agenda intent on upholding and perpetuating white supremacy."

Cori Bush is a prop, a stereotype black woman who gets all righteous and huffy when one of “theirs” seems to be leaving the plantation. So she goes tattling and calling him names, in the mistaken belief that this will somehow force him to recant his apostasy, and in chains and in tears, allow himself to be led back so Massa Simon Legree can beat on him unmercifully, as was so succinctly explained in “Uncle Tom’s Cabin”.
