He was against Cheny losing her leadership position, then changed his mind when he saw how much opposition there was against her. He’s a panderer. He was nixed for Speaker last time around because he was rumored to have had a 5-year affair with a Congresswoman who lost her seat, and recently lost her bid to win it back.
