Globalism / Great Reset –

The latest major food supplier to go up in flames, is New Zealand’s largest egg producer - after a blaze broke out on Monday, killing around 75,000 hens.

New Zealand has been in the grip of an egg shortage since the start of the year, when it put an end to battery farming. The ban had been in the works since 2012 and battery hen numbers had dropped over time to make up just 10% of overall egg production – but their final outlawing at the start of January has still been enough to jolt the egg supply chain, leaving supermarket shelves empty, shop owners policing tray purchases and big-breakfast lovers bereft.
The shortage has reached the point of contention: one small-town supermarket banned a cruise ship crew from further egg purchases after they cleared the shelves; newspapers have issued advice columns on egg-free baking and tofu scrambles; and in January, the SPCA released an advisory telling New Zealanders not to engage in kneejerk purchases of back yard poultry, after concerns that a rise in amateur chicken ownership would result in the animals not being properly cared for. -The Guardian

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/feb/06/fears-of-worsening-egg-shortage-in-new-zealand-as-fire-kills-75000-hens-at-farm

OBSERVATION – Events like this are beginning to move my needle from coincidence towards conspiracy. Food supply and the type of food “supplied” were key issues at the recent Davos confab. One way of reducing the food supply is to eliminate the sources of food.

**
One of Klaus Schwab’s top deputies at the World Economic Forum (WEF) is stepping down from his role after over a decade of being the top information operatives executive at the ruling class narrative and ideas incubator.

Adrian Monck, the managing editor and comms director of WEF, announcedthe news in a LinkedIn post. Monck oversaw the WEF’s notorious Young Global Leaders and Global Shapers programs, which Schwab infamously bragged had helped the outfit to “penetrate the cabinets” of foreign governments.

Prior to the recent Davos, Monck sought to mitigate the reputational damage to the WEF, churning out a series of articles claiming the outfit is the victim of “disinformation campaigns.”

OBSERVATIONS – WEF has taken a lot of hits as pushback from the wuhan plandemic has grown, increased resentment from the sheeple over the failure of the ‘green’ energy policies leaving people in the cold and dark and intrusive personal monitoring and surveillance plans. This year’s Davos was hit with a lot of notes of its hypocrisy in its calls for the new world order in the face of its rich, decadent participants and feasts.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (sent out a tweet on Friday stating that gas stoves are helping to cause climate change.
“Gas prices are high,” Schumer said in his tweet.
“Gas stoves can increase asthma risk,” he said.
“Gas stoves contribute to climate change,” he said.

OBSERVATION - Globalists are not going to let go of this issue – as it is a step towards controlling/eliminating the use of natural gas by the public. Its all about power and the power to control people’s lives using the lies they promulgate.

Economy –

The U.S. money supply has contracted for the first time since the Federal Reserve started publishing the data in January 1960.
According to the latest data presented by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the M2 money-supply growth rate tumbled by 1.3 percent year-over-year in December 2022, down from 0.01 percent in November 2022. This is also sharply down from the February 2021 peak of nearly 27 percent.
In total, the national money supply stands at more than $21.2 trillion, which is still more than 37 percent above the pre-pandemic level of about $15.458 trillion.

M2 is a measurement of the U.S. money stock that includes cash, checkable deposits, traveler’s checks, small-denomination time deposits, shares in retail money market mutual funds, and other categories of deposits that can easily be converted to cash.

Many economists will contend that a slowing or contracting money supply will typically trigger a recession.

This past summer, prominent economist Steve Hanke, a professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University, told CNBC that the U.S. economy would slip into a recession in 2023 because of flatlining money supply growth.
“We will have a recession because we’ve had five months of zero M2 growth, money supply growth, and the Fed isn’t even looking at it,” he said. “We’re going to have one whopper of a recession in 2023.”

https://www.theepochtimes.com/us-money-supply-shrinks-for-first-time-since-fed-started-sharing-data_5036773.html?utm_source=partner&utm_campaign=BonginoReport

OBSERVATION – The fed has had their money machine running overtime for sometime now. This could be an important indicator of the transition into a recession as noted.

Invasion of Illegals –

NYC is now buying bus tickets to ship illegals to the Canadian border.

Biden / Harris watch –

Biden’s State of the Union address is scheduled for Today. The fence is back up around the Capitol.

**
Opposition to harris on the next presidential ticket is growing. It is not surprising given how she displays a lack of cohesive thought and ability to mash any topic given to her. Here are just two examples from a recent interview –
Kamala: “I think that most of us who are devout public servants understand that we in government have great possibility in terms of the range at which we work as government.”

Kamala: “Our meeting today includes...working together to talk about how we can measure the success we’ve had thus far…to help us articulate the metrics by which we will then measure our success in real-time.”

CW2/Domestic violence –

SWAT teams from multiple law enforcement agencies were deployed to the remains of the former Atlanta autonomous zone to protect construction workers as they restart efforts to build the police training facility that domestic terrorists tried to stop.

OBSERVATION – This was the base protest that eventually lead to police shooting and the killing of the activist/shooter. Atlanta has been putting up with these tree sitters for way too long.

POLITICAL FRONT –

The ‘state’ of the union will be a circus of posing politicians and blowhard commentators. However, there is not enough lipstick for the message biden is thought to be bringing. Given how his previous major speeches were close to declaring real war on the right, this could be more of the same.

Domestic / International Terror (modified)-

The FBI has captured two people, whom the agency describes as “racially or ethnically motivated” extremists, before they could attack Baltimore’s power grid, officials said Monday. CBS News has identified on those in custody as Brandon Russell, an alleged neo-Nazi leader from Orlando, Florida.
The FBI says it has a recording of the other suspect, Sarah Beth Clendaniel, telling an informant about the attack, “It would lay this city to waste.”

OBSERVATION – Russel is reportedly to be a member of Atomwafer (sp) white supremacists group. Reportedly the same informant that turned them in on an earlier charge was the same that did it on this one. Needless to say the potential effects of attacking substations has gained attention on both sides of the spectrum.

China –

Following the bouncing balloon.

SMH, Defense officials are now trying to say that three Chinese balloons flew across the US during the Trump administration were not detected. This comes in the face of key Trump administration figures (many turned anti Trump) denying that they received any reports of Chinese balloon incursions during his administration.

Military sources are reporting that the Chinese spy balloon carried explosives to self-detonate, was 200 feet tall, weighed thousands of pounds, and its payload was the size of a jetliner (small – three school busses)

North/South Korea –

And heeeeees back. A day after observers noted an extended absence Reuters is reporting that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has presided over a military meeting and pledged to expand the country’s drills and beef up war readiness posture.

Russia -
WAR WATCH - Russia’s “three days to conquer Ukraine” war continues since fighting starting on Feb 24th.

CURRENT ASSESSMENT
Russian forces are likely setting conditions to reach the Luhansk and Donetsk oblast borders — an objective that Russian Chief of General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov had also outlined on December 22, 2022. Troop and equipment build up is being noted

At present, it is capable of very local offensive actions as in the ongoing fighting around Bakhmut and Donetsk.

Russia is also capable of launching more cruise/ballistic missile attacks directed against Ukrainian infrastructure -primarily its power grid, but massively reduced inventories of such missiles means these barrages will be further apart.

While Russia has nuclear capability, the probability is low that any will be used in the near future.

********

Russian Personnel Issues –-
- Footage of Wagner mercenaries dragging away and killing their wounded commander during Bakhmut offensive has gone viral on the interwebs. This is what happens when you drive your prisoner/conscripts into a meat grinder while you hide behind them. In the day it was called “fragging”.

Economic Impact –
- The Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation in January 2023 for the first time sold gold (3.6 tons) from the National Wealth Fund to cover the budget deficit

- Russia is facing a 200% tariff on aluminum imported into the US, a move that will hurt Russia but U.S. industries reliant on aluminum imports as well.

Ukraine -
WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures will remain around freezing (upper 20s to low 30s) and relatively dryer conditions. Overnight lows in the mid to upper teens.

24 HOUR ROUND UP –
Fighting remains fierce around Bahkmut with Russia picking up minimal gains to the north and south. The largest attack in months appears to be nearing its crest.

More attacks in the Donetsk area.

Information coming out now about the recent Russian attempt of an offensive in the Vuhledar region, southwest of Donetsk. Russia massed a significant armored attack on the Ukranian stronghold which fell apart in a nearly spectacular manner as Russian tanks and APCs drove blindly into a minefield, bunched up and served as a turkey shoot for Ukranian artillery. Pity the Russian infantry fleeing the destroyed APCs trying to escape the maelstrom. Rough estimates are that Russia lost essentially a BTG equivalent worth of equipment and men. Video’s posted on social media are pretty graphic, showing Russian armor and personnel bunched together and being blown apart by fire.

OUTLOOK ——
Ukrainian military is expecting Russia to start its decisive offensive around February 24 to symbolically tie the attack to the first anniversary of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine. No significant buildup of Russian offensive groups in the Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions or in Belarus have been observed.

Ukrainian intelligence indicates that Russia is concentrating on launching offensive operations in the east rather than in southern Ukraine
As I’ve noted before- Russia seems to be rushing to get forces in place to kick off an offensive sooner than later. The current state of the Russian forces in Ukraine make this plan highly dangerous for Russia. Any offensive may have initial success, but many in the OSINT community think that the inter unit coordination and skilled personnel necessary for a complicated operations are missing and will cause the offensive to grind to a halt very quickly. Making matters worse, Ukraine has shown itself to be adept in mobile defensive operations and will extract a heavy toll on the Russian forces. Also of not – Russia doesn’t seem to be planning to have any significant reserves to exploit any breakout.

One last note – Gerasimov reportedly has been given a directive to seize Donbas by the end of March – what I’m seeing in Russian planning is level of desperation to make that deadline.

Syria -

The earthquake has managed to essentially stop the fighting in the north as people there try to rescue those trapped in collapsed buildings and treat the injured.

Turkey -

Death toll in Turkey and Syria surpasses 5,000 and climbing fast. According to the WHO as reported by the BBC, as many as 20,000 people may have died in the quake.

OBSERVATION – The next 24 hours are critical. No water for 3 days causes the body to start to shut down and death very close behind. With thousands and thousands of collapsed buildings across the region, there are not any where near enough rescuers and equipment to meet this time line. The WHO estimate then becomes a very real projection. Yesterday, initial estimates were 3,200 to 25,900 deaths, and this was before the second 7.5 quake. People in that region are screwed and are going to be for multiple years.

Globalism / Great Reset –

(Reuters) - British consumers would be limited to holding a maximum of 20,000 pounds ($24,000) each if the Bank of England goes ahead with a digital version of the British currency, BoE Deputy Governor Jon Cunliffe said on Tuesday.

“We propose a limit of between 10,000 pounds and 20,000 pounds per individual as the appropriate balance between managing risks and supporting wide usability of the digital pound,” Cunliffe said in a speech to members of UK Finance, a banking industry body.

A limit of 10,000 pounds would mean that three quarters of people could receive their pay in digital pounds as well as holding pre-existing balances in the same account, while a 20,000 pound limit would allow almost everyone to use digital pounds for day-to-day transactions, Cunliffe said.
($1 = 0.8332 pounds)

OBSERVATION – Kind of an obscure article to me, but if I read it right, there will be a limit as to how much digital currency one may hold in their account. If so, this may reflect the WEFs desire that the digital currencies act to make savings undoable, forcing people to “use it or lose it” kind of mentality. Only the global elite will be allowed to accumulate wealth and caps like the following will work in their favor.

Economy –

The amount of credit card debt owed by Americans jumped by 18.5 percent, hitting a record-high of $930.6 billion – and this is expected to climb even higher as American consumers continue to deal with inflation and rising interest rates.

“Credit card interest rates are already as high as they’ve been in decades,” noted Matt Schulz, chief credit analyst for fintech company LendingTree. “While the Fed is taking its foot off the gas a bit when it comes to raising rates, credit card APRs [annual percentage rates] almost certainly will keep climbing for at least the next few months, so it is important that cardholders continue to focus on knocking down their debt.”

TransUnion noted that the average consumer’s credit card balance rose to $5,805.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/02/03/us-credit-card-debt-jumps-18point5percent-and-hits-a-record-930point6-billion-.html

OBSERVATION – These are not good numbers. With current economic conditions, it will become increasingly difficult for consumers to pay off these bills. At minimum payment levels the pay off time is near 20 years. If the economy crashes, many credit card companies will lose big and the ability to get credit would become nearly impossible.

Biden / Harris watch –

Policy wise – nothing new came out of the SOTU dumpster fire last night. Once again biden claimed to be a uniter while in the next breath attacking republicans for policies Americans wanted.

CW2/Domestic violence –

Trans-rights activists stormed the OK state capitol demanding that a bill outlawing mutilation for gender transition purposes be eliminated for those under the age of 21.

OBSERVATION – I can only associate the madness of the trans-rights so called activists to that of demonically oppression and possession. Hardly anything else makes sense of the sudden explosion of such ‘activism’ since biden took power.

POLITICAL FRONT –

Don’t miss this – last night instead of US flags on their lapels, democrats wore an “abortion” pin. Republicans were a mixed bag, with McConnell wearing a Ukranian based tie and no American flag.

With the SOTU over, republican investigations of the plethora of biden administration’s scandals begins.

China –

The U.S. military has notified Congress that China now has more land-based intercontinental-range missile launchers than the US. According to a Pentagon report, China is on track to field 1,500 nuclear warheads by 2035.

https://www.wsj.com/articles/china-has-more-icbm-launchers-than-u-s-american-military-reports-11675779463?mod=hp_lead_pos10

OBSERVATION – The US is greatly delayed in getting a new ICBM on line to replace the aging Minuteman 3s and is relying heavily on sub based nuclear counter strike options to make up the shortage. The air delivery wing is hurting as well, waiting for the delivery of the B-21 to bolster that leg of the US nuclear triad.

**
Taiwan weapons firm test-fires cruise missile believed to be capable of striking central and eastern mainland China

OBSERVATION – Taiwan in a sprint to develop weapons to deal with an anticipated Chinese invasion.

**
The People’s Bank of China and the government of Brazil reached an agreement on Tuesday to establish cross-border payment clearing in the Chinese renminbi.

OBSERVATION - I’ve been monitoring Chinese maneuverings like this. In addition to trying to undermine the dollar as the global currency, these moves are working to permit China to function in the event of actions against Taiwan and the resulting sanctions. Some do not see the Renminbi being strong enough yet to fully replace the dollar, but in the case of smaller countries will make it more difficult for the US to exercise controls.

North/South Korea –

Illuminated aircraft flew low over Pyongyang around 1 am Wednesday, videos seen by NK News show, suggesting that North Korea has begun an anticipated military parade to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean People’s Army.

Japan –

Japanese and Taiwanese leaders have been meeting to discuss defensive matters of mutual concern – basically China.

OBSERVATION – Japan is concerned about a Chinese take over of islands it controls that are within 70 miles of Taiwan.

Russia -
WAR WATCH - Russia’s “three days to conquer Ukraine” war continues since fighting starting on Feb 24th.

CURRENT ASSESSMENT

********

(TASS) - Russia has demanded the US embassy in Moscow stop spreading what the Kremlin regards as fake news regarding its military operation in Ukraine and has threatened to expel US diplomats.

OBSERVATION - Russia beating its chest for the locals and popularity polls.

Economic Impact –
- The Russian stock market began to decline after the news of a “voluntary contribution to the budget” (ie tax) was proposed.

Ukraine -
WEATHER FORECAST – Temperatures will remain around freezing (upper 20s to low 30s) and relatively dryer conditions. Overnight lows in the mid to upper teens.

24 HOUR ROUND UP –
Russian army focused on offensive operations near Kreminna, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Opytne, Maryinka and Vuhledar overnight. Russians made slow progress in their efforts to encircle Bakhmut using the tactic of walking intense artillery fire ahead of lighter ground forces. This is a tactic they used earlier this spring.

At Avdiyivka and especially Vuledar, Russian forces have been mauled by Ukranian defenses. What can only be described as inept deployment of Russian armor has resulted in losses on a huge scale.

Ukraine continues to hammer command and logistics sites deep in Russian controlled terroritory as evidenced by reports of 5 big explosions in port area of Mariupol.

OUTLOOK ——
Russia will achieve encirclement of Bakhmut, but it will take them at least a couple more weeks at the rate they are progressing at. They are focusing a lot of resources on the fight and one can only speculate that the reason may be that they think it would make a good jump off point for their offensive. From Bakhmut they could swing north to Kreminna and south towards Donetsk in an effort to encircle more Ukrainian forces.

The major flaw in that plan is the ongoing, dismal employment of tanks/armor and the inability to coordinate actions to achieve tactical and strategic goals. The ongoing disaster for Russia armor at Vuledar is a case in point. Russia may overwhelm Ukrainian defenses by shear weight of the numbers of bodies they throw at it with localized, massive artillery superiority, but exploitations require a lot more coordination and logistics. Poorly trained and supplied Russian units will likely face even worse conditions than the far better equipped and trained forces did last year when the war started - and with devistiating results after initial successes.

The timing of the Russian offensive is still in the air IMHO. The substantial effort at Bakhmut takes away scarce forces and supplies that will desperately be needed for the offensive and follow-on defense against Ukrainian counter-offensive. I still see pressure to execute the Russian offensive in full force by the end of Feb/early March to achieve putins desired capture of the Donbas. Can they pull off the planning for such an attack while at the same time devoting substantial resources towards the Bahkmut fight?

.
Europe / NATO General –

The German Security Council approves the delivery of 178 Leopard 1 tanks to Ukraine

OBSERVATION – This has been a significant turn around of the German Govt, I wonder who pressed the right buttons to overcome their resistance?

Syria -

Earthquake recovery efforts continue. However, it seems most of the aid is headed to Turkey and not so much to Syria.

Turkey -

Death toll is risen above 10,000 and still climbing.
Families in some badly-hit areas have said the slow speed of rescue efforts means they have had no help digging through ruins to find relatives.

OBSERVATION – On this last point, if you haven’t figured it out on your own YOU ARE YOUR OWN FIRST RESPONDER. As I stated in an earlier post, there are not enough rescue teams and equipment available to deal with a disaster of this magnitude. I feel sorry for the families, but this attitude is that which comes from depending on the govt for everything in life.

Mexico -

Fentanyl was a topic in the SOTU address. Reports indicate that most (60%?) is detected at border crossings – supporting some claims that the massive tsunami of illegals have nothing to do with increased trafficking from Mexico. What is missing from that argument IMHO is that resources have been taken off the border crossings and shifted to the areas of illegal penetrations of the border- an action that removes those who’s job it is to detect illegal drugs. This makes smuggling across border check points actually more feasible and profitable as more large shipments are able to get through than before.

FURTHER NOTE - Fentanyl deaths here in my corner of the Redoubt, thousands of miles from the Mexican border, if at an all time high and climbing higher. Our region has been suffering from meth for years, and now this. This increase directly correlates to when biden took power and essentially opened the border.
