One of those 'eyes were bigger than the stomach' things. EV's don't make much sense for most families beyond a 'second car'. The fact it's taken this long for people to discover that reality is a testament to the fact propaganda and advertising works.
And so the pendulum swings... and will swing too far again.
Personally I wouldn’t even use as a second car. Our electrical network can’t handle it
