The "garcia minus hobbs" column shows the increase in the Democrat "vote" from 2018 to 2022 [a negative number].
The "hobbs divided by garcia" column shows the percentage increase in the Democrat "vote" from 2018 to 2022.
The "douchey minus Lake" column shows the increase (or decrease) in the Republican vote in that county from 2018 to 2022.
The "Lake divided by douchey" column shows the percentage increase (or decrease) in the Republican vote in that county from 2018 to 2022.
Note that the percentages for "Hatie" Hobbs never get anywhere near less than 100+% of the Garcia 2018 "vote", whereas Kari Lake's votes dip below Douchey's 2018 votes in about half of the counties.
This is unusual.
If a candidate is less popular than the previous party candidate, you'd see it across ALL the counties.
That didn't happen here. Of course, Lake took major divots in her turnout in the Democrat/Assistant Democrat-controlled counties.
The interesting thing will be delving into those other counties. Hopefully, Arizona freepers will be able to help shed light on some of these counties.

She refused to debate Lake and even run to the ladies room and lock herself in, when pursued by some reporter!
That explains a bit about Garcia.

There is no way in hell Lake lost this race.
Have family and friends in shock. They assumed she was in.
But Basement Katie managed to pick up 6,800 more than Garcia in 2018 - and only 4,000 less than JoeTatoe in 2020.

Well, I will tell you that Richard Baris was extremely concerned that Lake was not doing nearly as well as Trump did in PIMA county. Trump actually won many precincts there.
I will also mention that Karrin Taylor Robson (the McTurdite candidate) still had a LOT of support in Coconino, Yavapai, some very red counties. I saw this when I went up there to speak. Club presidents would have to tell their members, “I know many of you wanted KTR but we have to unify . . . .” So that sentiment against Lake from the McTurdite faction was real.
I was quite upset with Karrin. She has a very rich husband and spend humongous money badmouthing Kari Lake in Primaries.
“fake Lake” was her leading motif.
It just irked me to waste so much money on trashing fellow Republican.
It may rub on some people so they refused to vote for Lake.
I vote for Trump in 2024, and no other Republican.

Wait'll they get a load of going up against Democrat vote fraud without their Tonto conservatives [what do you mean "we", Mitch Kemosabe?].
Cocochino [Flagstaff] shows that a fair number of the KTR fans might have sat it out - but in Yavapai, the Pubs upped Douchey's 2018 total by 4,700 votes.
She also did well in Mohave [4,400 more than Douchey 2018] - but I don't get where the extra 6,800 "Hatie Robbs" fans came from.
Somebody said that Garcia was a Lefty whackjob, which may have suppressed Demoscat turnout in Mohave in 2018.
