Does this mean Disney won’t ‘be there’ for the little children who get off on torturing animals and little boys and girls? Come on Bob Iger... No S&M flag to fly over Disney? No bondage movies/cartoons for upcoming seven year old sadists?
1. Iger is a far leftist and will continue the woke agenda at Disney.
2. Chapek himself was a money man trying to control a herd of feral, gay, liberal cats. He did what he had to do to keep his employees from walking off the job. Employees, by the way, that were hired directly and indirectly by Iger.
3. Iger knows that having Disney directly involved in political issues is a no-win situation, which is what he is addressing. Disney will continue to indirectly - if you consider creating content that encourages leftist thinking and activity as indirect - support the leftist agenda they have taken on in the past decade. Count on it.

The title and commentary don’t match the recorded statement.
What I heard was high-quality CEO song and dance, lots of pretty words meaning nothing. He said nothing but it sounded good and each person could take away what they wanted... but not everything that they wanted.
Then again, the earlier virtue signaling was probably a ploy towards cheap PR. Now that it has a cost, and his company is in some trouble, it might not happen as much.
He has his work cut out for him in light of the company's sizeable existing inventory pushing perversity (links below) and the Florida legislature's withdrawal of special tax status from DisneyWorld—topped off by the recent steep decline in its stock value.

You're leaving out the part where Orange County would have the right to TAX Disney' property... Cities don't provide services for free ... you know, right?
When Walt moved to Orange County - buying land - pretending to be a 'Gas Company' the quality of their construction was so far above Southern Standard Building Code there was no reason to do inspections. When Walt was in charge that's how it was up and down the park: superior - way above minimum standards on everything.
It's different now that groomers are running the place. God only knows what short cuts they'll take to kick up profits. It's time for Disney to be treated like the scummy lowlife company they are. Walt's been dead for a long time... it's time to get real.
Read somewhere, and I can’t recall where, that Iger is going to continue the current (LGBTQRSTUV) ways of Disney. Maybe even expand.

I got on the Disney website and told them I have called off our 15 family member trip to Disney World. Going to a condo in Madiera Beach instead. They are not going to mess with my grandchildren.
Going to the Manatee viewing at Appolo utility facility, etc.
