I think she will always hate this country that she claims “enslaved” her and oppressed her somehow despite actually being enslaved by Russia. She’ll hate Russia more but she’ll never appreciate America. The left has conditioned her that way.
It does sound as if she is experiencing a life that even the most hardened criminal in a U.S. prison will never face. Russia is not known for treating prisoners with any type of leniency. However, she basically believed her own favorable press to the point that she could enter another country, thumb her nose at their laws, and do as she wished. All without repercussion. Once caught she assumed she would be quickly removed from the country by attorneys and activists performing on behalf of Democrat politicians. She never thought she would actually go to trial and be convicted and sentenced to prison in Russia.
It’s a hard lesson to learn. Especially when you have been indoctrinated to believe that the U.S. is the only oppressive country in the world and the absolutely worst place in which to live.
If she were to be released tomorrow, she would still hate America.
