GOP House leader Kevin McCarthy worked to crush the MAGA movement in Congress but now he wants their votes for speakership.
Only a week ago we uncovered that McCarthy was using funds from FTX to take out GOP Representative Madison Cawthorn who was a fan of President Trump and the MAGA movement.
But Cawthorn wasn’t the only MAGA candidate that McCarthy went after. He also went after many more.
Joe Kent, Carl Paladino, Christian Collins, Karoline Leavitt, Laura Loomer, Greg Giglio, and JR Majewski, were all targeted by Kevin McCarthy.
Attorney Anthony Sabatini in Florida was one of them. Sabatini was a MAGA candidate that McCarthy worked against in the primary. The Florida House member lost in part due to McCarthy’s money used against him.

McConnell’s sabotage of his own side in the Senate races won’t come as a surprise to most Republicans, but many are unaware that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy used similar tactics in several House races during the same period. McCarthy’s behavior is even worse than McConnell’s in light of the extremely underwhelming House election results. Although observers expected a “red wave” that would yield a strong Republican majority in the House, Republicans are likely to have just a five-vote advantage in the end.
According to The Washington Post, the political machine around McCarthy directed millions to be spent against Republican candidates in GOP primaries associated with the America First movement. Yes, you read that correctly. McCarthy surrogates, including Amazon lobbyist Jeff Miller, directed four political action committees to attack key candidates to McCarthy’s right in primary elections around the country.

After McCarthy fails to get 218 on the first ballot, what do you think will happen?
The Democrats only need FOUR votes to elect their Speaker.
Do you think there are not four Republicans who will not wilt under the media firehose of "Nazi, white supremacist, racist, woman hater" that will be coming their way? For heaven's sake, 10 Republicans voted to impeach President Trump! Two of them remain in Congress.
So increase Pelosi's vote total to 216. Now, she just needs two.
If there is a serious revolt against McCarthy, she will find those two votes in five minutes.

according to moron Erik, Trump must be a rino then... Trump/MAGA won in ‘16, ‘20 & ‘22 so it must be Erik is the total loser.

Trump is a RINO. He endorses RINOs in every election. He gets stabbed in the back by those RINOs he endorses.

I’m in general an accelerationist, and I have posted many, may times (it used to be my tagline) that America will never be free until the GOP is destroyed.
So, of course, if I were a Member I would vote for someone other than McCarthy, secure in the knowledge that once the “Chaos in Congress” headlines started, 10-15 McCarthy voters would switch to Pelosi or Jeffries, just to make it stop.
At this point I would vote for Hakeem Olajuwon over Kevin McCarthy, Hakeem Jeffries or Nancy P.
The goal is to remind McCarthy that he is on a short, short leash.
What are you talking about? McCarthy has one vote, in my scenario, it makes no difference who he votes for or if he doesn’t even vote.
The facts are: Pelosi (or Jeffries) have 214 solid votes. They need four more for one of them to be elected Speaker.
So, if even five Republicans vote for someone other than McCarthy on the first ballot, no Speaker will be elected.
An anti-McCarthy Republican (Biggs, let’s say) will need to get to 218. That means he has to change over 200 votes that McCarthy will have on the first ballot, while Pelosi only has to change four.
Results?
Yes, in 2018, Trump lost the House.
In 2020, Trump lost the White House and Senate
In 2022, Trump lost a red wave with the smallest out of party gains in modern history.
You can hitch your wagon to a 3-time loser who had no new strategy on how to combat ballot harvesting, but I am done with him.
You can stay loyal to a man who endorses our RINO enemies, but I am done with him.

Among the 435 Members of Congress, there are many, many of what you call “RINOs”. Actually, they are the real Republicans, what a Republican IS is represented by Kevin McCarthy, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, etc, etc.
Anyway.
The idea of electing a Republican other than Kevin McCarthy Speaker involves making hundreds and hundreds of “RINOs” vote for a MAGA Republican (who they hate) while preventing ONLY FOUR “RINOs” from voting for Pelosi or Jeffries to block the MAGA candidate.
The Republican Party, its leadership, and most of its elected officials are 100% committed to destroying Trump and his movement. Given the choice, they will choose a Democrat every time if necessary.
It is simply not possible for any Republican other than Kevin McCarthy to be elected Speaker in this Congress, and all 435 Members of the House know it.
In fact. McCarthy will be SO good for the Democrats that if he’s 10-15 votes short, there may very well be that many Democrats who Pelosi will tell to vote for him.

Well, MAGA isn't "conservative", it's revolutionary.
However you are right, American conservatives, who have conserved nothing while watching their nation be ruined need new leadership, but the Speaker of the House isn't chosen by conservatives, he's chosen by 435 Members of the House, 214 of whom are Democrats, 44 of whom are idiot "freedom/liberty" people, and the rest of whom are chamber of commerce go along to get along pimps.
If you are looking for new leadership, you're looking in the wrong place.
