This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

If the corporations own the government or the government controls the corporations is a distinction without a difference. It is like arguing with a child.

Urals at $52 a barrel. Ouch.

“With European Union diplomats haggling over a price cap on Russian oil, it’s worth remembering that the level they’re discussing will almost certainly be above where the nation’s flagship grade currently trades.

European Union diplomats have this week been discussing a cap at somewhere around the $65-to-$70-a-barrel mark. When it does get imposed, the limit is expected to be adopted by all Group of Seven nations in a process that the US has led.

But anything in that range would be far above the current price of Russia’s flagship Urals grade, according to data provided by Argus Media Ltd., a publisher of physical commodity prices. Urals fell to around $52 a barrel on Thursday at two of the country’s key western export terminals, the firm’s data show.’

If ever you think your job is completely pointless, just remember the Kremlin pays someone to be a “human rights commissioner”

It probably took you 20 minutes to refer to a dictionary in order to understand it.

“It probably took you 20 minutes to refer to a dictionary in order to understand it.”

Why are you knocking someone who is complementing you on your unique turn of phrase? Did you somehow think it was an insult. I think it’s rather obvious I was appreciating your word choices. Sheesh.

“”I thought that they were passed out drunk from the video, but hypothermia makes sense.””

Why not both, cold weather camping without the gear can kill you, the last thing you want to do in that survival situation is get passed out drunk, dehydrated, numb to the warning signs and too drunk to deal with any solutions anyway, and then passed out on the cold ground and unable to maximize what little sleeping gear you do have.

That killed Geronimo and kills people every year as they try to go home from the bars during winter.

https://www.moonofalabama.org/2022/11/ukraine-running-on-empty.html#more

Russia expert Gordon M. Hahn looks at the upcoming Russian Winter Offensive. Only with a ceasefire can Ukraine and its sponsors avert the upcoming catastrophe. This for three reasons:

First, the Russian hammer is about to fall on Ukraine. The gloves are coming off; electric energy stations, bridges, and even ‘decision centers’ such as central Kiev’s government buildings are being targeted. ... What will the sociopolitical situation be like when these critical infrastructures are in complete collapse and temperatures are 20 degrees colder? Russia will be moving closer to the strategy of ‘shock and awe’, fully destroying all infrastructure – military or otherwise – as the US did in Serbia and Iraq and will likely take less care now to avoid civilian casualties.

After the infrastructures are completely destroyed or incapacitated, Russia’s reinforcements of 380,000 regular and newly mobilized troops will have been fully added into Russia’s forces across southeastern Ukraine. ... A winter offensive by some half a million troops will make substantial gains on those three fronts and multiply Ukrainian losses in personnel and materiel`, which are already high. This could lead easily to a collapse of Ukrainian forces on one or more front. On the backs of such a success Russian President Putin might also make another attempt to threaten Kiev ...

Second, the West is suffering from Ukraine fatigue. NATO countries’ arms supplies have been depleted beyond what is tolerable, and social cohesion is collapsing in the face of double-digit inflation and economic recession. All this makes Russia the winner on the strategic level and is forcing Washington and Brussels to seek at least a breathing spell by way of a ceasefire.

...

Third, Ukraine’s greatest political asset – Zelenskiy himself – just got devalued, putting at even greater risk Ukraine’s political stability. ... For now, in order to keep the West on board, Zelenskiy is rumored to be pushing Ukrainian armed forces commander Viktor Zalyuzhniy to start a last pre-winter offensive in northern Donetsk (Svatovo and Severodonetsk) or Zaporozhe in order to put a stop to the West’s ceasefire murmurs and reboost support. At the same time there is talk of continuing Zelenskiy-Zalyuzhniy tensions over the latter’s good press and star status in the West. ... On the background of the deteriorating battlefield and international strategic situation, such civil-military tensions are fraught with the potential for a coup. ...

...

We may be reaching the watershed moment in the Ukrainian war. No electricity, no army, no society.

Russia will be moving closer to the strategy of ‘War Crimes Internationally recognized as Terrorism’, fully destroying all essential civilian energy infrastructure, for which it will have to pay dearly.

Tactics like the torture chambers in Bucha and forced population transfers in Mariupol made Russian victory unacceptable to the civilized world, and brought forth the Military and economic support needed to defeat Russia’s aggression.

This deliberate massive barbarity of knocking out the electricity, water and heat in Winter for millions of civilians, is likely going to make the continued existence of the guilty regime in Russia unacceptable to the civilized world.

You're a blatant hypocrite. What Russia is doing is what we did right from the start in Iraq and Serbia in our shock and awe campaigns.

Neocons are just as big a hypocrites as Democrats and leftists are.

War crimes? Ukraine using civilians as human shields, intentionally targeting civilians in Donetsk and shelling a nuclear power plant.

Bucha was a laughable lie.

God knows the truth. And, I hope he curses people like you that spread the lies we've been spreading and you're repeating.

We, under Biden, are the new evil empire. We lie as much as the old Soviet Union did. And, we will reap sow because of it.

“What Russia is doing is what we did right from the start in Iraq and Serbia in our shock and awe campaigns.”

BS

...and it is not going to save Putin in The Hague. It might be a propaganda point for public consumption (something is better than nothing), but it has no legal merit, and the legal ramifications of what Putin is doing are momentous.

There were no millions of people cutoff from life critical support in any of the UN authorized Military Operations that the USA participated in.

Russia’s blatant war of conquest has been a war crime since it was launched, heaping more and more crimes as it continued. Now they are going to a extraordinary level that requires the International Community to take extraordinary steps to deter this in the future, by punishing the guilty Putin regime.

Putin must be put down. There is no longer any way for him to reenter normal Diplomatic relations. He will go down in history as a monster.

@wartranslated 18h
Day 274, November 24th. Summary of Arestovych and Feygin daily broadcast:

“🔥Russian military & state officials fleeing the sinking ship

CIA is reportedly recruiting Russian military & state officials that are reaching the Intelligence services in masse and offering their services.

The military failure (for which the Army will be a scapegoat) and increasing economic disaster in Russia will incentivize many military officers & state officials to sell state secrets (to CIA, SBU, etc) in exchange for money or safety guarantees.

This situation is not very different from the systematic cooperation of ex-soviet citizens with the Western intelligence services after the fall of the USSR and disarray in Russia.”
