It’s my opinion that ever since Meghan McCain left the View, the show has needed to search for comments that light people up. Controversy and drama sell. Five women sitting on a stage agreeing with each other on every issue doesn’t sell.
Think of Big Time Wrestling, where even the dialog is written and rehearsed. The dynamics are the same; ‘Good vs Evil’.

The host named Sunny has also changed since Meghan’s departure. Every two or three weeks (on schedule) she says something ridiculous and/or uncomfortable. She didn’t start out this way. Her most recent statements had to do with saying Jesus Christ would have fully supported LGBT causes. This is part of their job, to kick up the dust here and there, even when they have to create the ‘dust’.
