As I wrote in a vanity last week, Congress should hold a hearing on the FBI failure to stop J6, in the spirit of the Commissions that investigated how the US military dropped the ball on Dec 7 1941 and left Pearl Harbor unprepared and undefended. Admiral Kimmel was demoted after the inquiries ( some historians say unfairly, that he didn’t have adequate intelligence to foresee the attack)
Congress needs to hold some Admirel Kimmel-type hearings regarding the FBI’s failure to protect the Capitol from “insurrection” on Jan6, when the FBI DID have informants and intelligence to be forewarned
The FBI failed far more egregiously in the run-up to 9/11.
If they weren't called to account for that, they're not going to be asked to explain anything.
