I agree. But it is clear discussions are going on, and this cold calculus is known not just to us, but to Democrats, Republicans, and Trump and his team.

Those without a “D” after their name (or the last name of McCarthy) are trying to figure out how to make an edible sandwich out of the s**t sandwich resulting from a stolen and corrupt elections.
That will be a little difficult when they were complicit in those stolen elections. When you remain silent over criminal acts you know occurred, you are complicit, and condone the criminal behavior by remaining silent.
