The contractors are not being notified. They are just losing access to Slack and email.

Slack, at least our office, is a total time waster. It seems to be little more than an electronic water-cooler gossip machine.
And contractors not being notified? They’re contractors. They can be let go without notice, pending any particulars in their contact.
Slack is the best-of-breed work collaboration tool. If your org is only using it to gossip, that’s management’s fault, not Slack’s.
I never heard of Slack before this thread.
