I don’t see Trump coming back from it now. Even if he didn’t go off on DeSantis, the GOPe made it clear that they will do anything to stop Trump, they won.
Best thing now going forward is for DeSantis to work as Governor of Florida to change the National GOP into his image. Can’t do that if he runs in 2024.
Forget 2024, it’s lost. Even if the Republicans win, it would be with someone like Liz Cheney.
Don’t be a defeatist. If you’re going to go down, go down fighting. President Trump is the best fighter on the political landscape.

If Trump earns the GOP nomination, he will lose the general.
If Trump doesn't earn the GOP nomination, he will run a third party campaign ensuring the Democrats win. The GOP nominee will likely see their political future go down in flames as well.
