Both Freeper Inaugural Balls. I remember meeting many Freepers who had only been screen names until then, Mike Huckabee playing with his band and departing in 2001 to see all of DC covered in a light layer of snow, almost like it had been cleansed of the stain that had been the Clinton administration.
Remember the weekly meetings with people coming out from the White House tours? Kristinn was so amazing with his ability to engage a few of them, teaching them facts that they had never heard.
Gathering outside of the White House Correspondents dinner was great fun as well. Remember when Ralph Nader, who had taken some votes from AlGore, was crossing the wide street and we cheered him. He thought he was being celebrated until he realized that we were just appreciating his part in defeating AlGore.
