The Republican candidate has nothing to lose in this district—lay it all on the line.
Go with massive advertising:
“My opponent is dead. That is why you should vote for me!”
Then either the Democrats can produce the guy or they can’t.

Scott was elected by 19% of the vote in 2002.Ever since he has usually won by between 40-50%.Being a politician in a deep blue district has to be one of the easiest jobs in this country.Dony have to debate your opponent, don’t have to campaign, and have little work to do yet still easily get reelected.Or in this case he can be near death or not even alive.
Why all the secrecy surrounding his condition?Maybe they think that if he’s not on the ballot it may demoralize some D voters from turning out.

>>However, according to Scott’s opponent, GOP candidate Caesar Gonzales, the trees in Atlanta are displaying Autumn colors right now.
I can confirm. And beyond. I have two mid-sized maples that all the leaves are off of.

I just played one of those video’s backwards. I heard clear as day:

Scott is dirty.
He's a throwback to the old Tammany Hall Democrats.
If you call his office asking for assistance, his staff ask if you voted for him.
I told the staffer that I had recently moved to the district about 6 months prior, but I would certainly consider him in the next election and hoped he could help me with my issue.
Nope. No vote, no help.

His voters are dead so I really don’t see a problem here.

That would be election interference. At worst, if he was dead and they continued to take campaign donations, then it's felony campaign finance fraud.

It has been equally crazy that dead voters elect brain-dead Democrat Congress members all the time, so why not have the dead elect the dead....?

Didn’t that happen some years ago in Missouri, that a Congressman died shortly before the election, won anyway, and then was replaced by his widow?

Yes, the Missouri US senate candidate was ran for weeks after death by his campaign. And his loyal press corpse.
