FWIW, those Q research threads is about the only thing that represents the old OG FR these days when we were exposing the evil agenda of the Clintoon administration. What is notable about that time is that more Freepers were direct, and spoke clearly and analytically. There wasn't nearly as much linking to obscure blogs or video clips that contained pontificating by others. There was no speaking in riddles or unknowns. If you had a point to make, you actually made it here, by writing it out yourself in that thread. Links were for reference only, not because they contained the actual analysis.
I'm sorry, but if you guys really thought you had something important to say, you needed to be far more direct and much less wordy. I tried reading some of those posts and they are ambiguous as hell, full of buzzwords and "in-group" references unintelligible to anyone else. Six paragraphs of wordy build-up to get to the actual point. It is tedious, and suggests there really isn't much substance to the points being made.

Excellent points about how FR used to be. I was here then, too,* and remember that thread and Buckhead. It was quite thrilling. I miss the old days on FR so much.
