Vance went right for the political jugular with a brutal statistical smackdown of Ryan on the economy, which remains by far the most salient of this election for voters in Ohio, and indeed nationwide. Vance indicted Ryan’s long tenure in politics by pointing out that “Tim Ryan represents a congressional district that has lost 50,000 jobs just in his time in office.”
On the issue of the economy, Vance also skillfully forced Ryan to own the harsh financial crisis created by Joe Biden for Americans who suffer from both a Biden recession as well as historic Biden-induced levels of inflation. This dreadful combination, unseen since the 1980s in America, forms a new era of stagflation: receding growth but rising prices, placing Ohioans into an economic vise.

Vance will win easily, at least by 6 points
If the R’s get control of congress Paul Ryan will be the de facto Speaker. McCarthy will dance to his tune because he’s not a real leader.
Trump handily took Ohio in 2020. I can’t see this being in doubt for Vance come election day.

And Republicans sweep and I’m not too sure they will being that absolutely nothing has been done about election integrity.
I unfortunately live in New York, one of the most corrupt states in the union, and right now we are trying to this absolute leftist psychopath named Kathy Hochul out of the governors office, but one thing disturbs me: SHE DOESN’T CAMPAIGN AT ALL!
She won’t debate her opponent Lee Zeldin, she refuses to do anything about the out of control crime, she’s only been in office one year yet she is blatantly, openly corrupt, why? My theory is because she knows the election is fixed for her to win so she doesn’t need to debate, doesn’t need to do her job, doesn’t need to impress the voters.
Just need to get past the Commies Voter Fraud and Ballot Tampering.
A lot of people fail to realize that McCarthy has been in Congress since he was 22 years old. He started off as an Intern and has never held a private sector job of any note. He represents all that is wrong with Congress.
If after this election the rats maintain control of congress, in the midst of the current national disaster, membership in the Election Denier Club will be the hottest ticket in the country.
The other day McCarthy was on Fox (forget the show) and blathered on about what the R’s would do but he studiously avoided getting into any specifics. Nobody who watched that interview could take him seriously.
He’s just a professional politician — and nothing more. A real empty suit.

Many of your fellow New Yorkers seem to have left the state. Many NY license plates all over the South. Similar thing with NJ.
That’s a fact. And that entire concept of “Career Politician” needs to be eliminated as a career path.
Its a real problem. One that not even the brilliant Founders ever imagined would arise.
At some point “serving” becomes “surviving” for those people. Its all about protecting the longevity of their career. And making as much money as possible while doing it.

Ryan is dead on the issues. since the debate his campaign ads have pivoted to smarmy family man type dreck, like he and his wife smooching and talking about how they just want everyone to get together and love each other. Real puke stuff but desperate to get away from his record. Vance is doing exactly right to hang ryan’s voting record around his neck like the proverbial albatross.

Yep, that’s another example. Trump campaigns his ass off, doing endless interviews every day, 4 or 5 RALLIES per day for months on end just like he did against Hillary, both Hillary and Biden sat on the asses rarely if ever held interviews, I cant even remember one rally either of them ever held, yet when Trump beat Hillary, the left was shocked to the point of thinking Trump cheated. Why is that? Because they FIXED the election! They thought it impossible that he should win, but the fact was he got enough votes to beat the cheating.
When he ran against Biden this time they didn’t make the same mistakes they made in 2016. They didn’t rely on guessing how many votes they would need, they made SURE first by counting them late at night and then adding what was needed to beat Trump. This is why Biden got a ridiculously high 81 million votes
So now that the Democrats know how to cheat successfully, why the hell do people think “there will be a red wave”? Like hell there will. Thanks to Bitch McConnells useless leadership, absolutely nothing has been done about election integrity
There may be another explanation why Hochul won’t debate.
There is no upside for her. In a debate, she will be called upon to defend the indefensible; the lockdowns, the mandates, the firings, the nursing homes. Her only options are to look like a serial liar or an incompetent fool.
Nope. I don’t see Hochul on the debate stage anytime soon.
