The drugs used for anxiety treatment are better than those used for depression.
I absolutely don’t get that kind of behavior on a plane.
It is not going to end well for you, even if you have good reason to be upset.
First, most other people on the plane will have zero sympathy or support for you. They just want to be done and off the plane.
Second, you are going to get banned, confined, tied up, tased, arrested, who knows what, and one of those is an absolute certainty.
None are good.
It is best just not to get controversial in many of these settings unless it cannot be avoided.
Funny. My wife knows me pretty well, and I can, in situations, have a short fuse before I lose my temper. We went to an ice cream place some time ago, and I ordered an ice cream sundae, with whipped cream, nuts, cherry on top.
The young girl said “We don’t serve cherries any more.”
Puzzled, I asked why, and she said they had some food coloring in them that was bad for you.
The idiocy of this answer began go percolate inside me, and bubbled until it came out in a remark like “Wait. You’re selling me this sundae, full of fat, sugar, nuts, and all kinds of unhealthy things, but you can’t give me a cherry?”
Now, my voice wasn’t rising or anything, but my tone had changed, and...I felt my wife’s hand gently on my back...:)
It was that touch to the back I found funny, as in “Calm down.”
Great story.
I was an obnoxious loud mouth as a child (and clever way beyond my years) and my parents took me aside and gave me some simple advice:
“When in Rome do as the Romans do.”
Since I was young they spelled it out for me:
“Look, people will do and say stupid things in front of you.
Do not get into arguments with them.”
This has served me so well in life—particularly as people got dumber and dumber.
I have mild Tourette’s so it has happened to me that I have sworn in front of the children in public. But I have two young boys that got to be the most entitled children on earth. Don’t know where we went wrong. My teenage daughters are angels.
Yeah but they can cause some drastic weight gain. Which can cause more anxiety.
This one is far-out weird even for WalMart, America’s “sanctuary store” for the far-out weird.
That is a very reasonable approach! You were fortunate to be explicitly taught that by responsible parents-many of us either have the innate sense to recognize that, or had to learn it.
For virtue signaling getting one in trouble, look no farther than Martha’s Vineyard.
I once passed by a woman at an entrance to a Joann Fabric store and she got all upset saying I should wait my turn.... I kept walking and she later caught up to me and said in front a another guy that she was going to call the police and that guy looked at her like she was crazy and she was as she walked away. I did not see her again in the store so I suspect she made a beeline to the exit.
Women.... : )
They be crazy!
In the video she screams she was recently raped and can’t stand a man touching her.
She needs help or she was caught out cutting in line and just exploding as a cover for he bad manners.
I heard him say that too. He was stunned.
People do not act this way. Typically it is a prank of some sort.
Regardless of the cause, she needs to be institutionalized. She can’t be out without a handler and certainly can’t be driving a car.
If so, she obviously has not recovered from being raped, and needs to be observed, although I suspect she is lying and enjoys victimhood status. So let’s say, she is stopped at a traffic light, a man crosses in front of her and she decides to run over him because she was raped and is entitled.
You are correct. she needs to be observed.
True, but the incident I related was a good quarter century before MV.
