It might take another 9/11 type event, or a few giant meteors crashing into the earth to provide us with a Reset-Point.
I do not see any actual Civil War in America to resolve the issue of cultural decay, because the Reds & the Blues are all mixed together, as it has always been. Same reason Secession is not likely to resolve the issue except in a few specific areas, such as Texas, New York, Florida or California.
