There were obvious replacement countries for Britain and France and before that Spain. There is nothing even remotely close to replacing the US. Worse case scenario we go back to the Monroe doctrine in which everyone leaves us alone and vice versa bc Mexico and Canada are zero threat. The exaggeration needs to stop. Biden is undoubtedly bad for the country but there are still plenty of wheels in motion moving the country forward and China is in far far worse shape than us in every aspect with no one else even remotely close in their wildest dreams. The US may be an ugly pony but every other country on earth is far worse by an order of magnitude.

How so?
We have huge and massive trade deficits with China in almost ever trading category.

China WILL overtake total US GDP much sooner than you think.

Speaking geopolitically, I can't think of anything more pleasant than this.

We don't go off and bomb foreign countries, and they don't come here and bomb us. (Are there any downsides to this?)
