Yet Germany presses on. Oh, they’ll keep some of the nuclear plants on for a little longer... but no refueling, they’re going dark again this is just temporary.

So why? Either they think they have a solution to the Russia supply problem... or they think there is going to be a large reduction in demand soon.

I can’t think of any other scenario...

i.e., greatly reduced standard of living and far fewer jobs.
