The Chinese will not pay funny money to the Russians for energy. The Chinese will replace the Warsaw Pact junk just lost in Ukraine with the latest Chicom military technology for payment. I guess it’s OK for the US to print, with dark money included, a hundred billion in our own funny money and pi$$ it away in Ukraine this year? I guess you’re saying their funny money is funnier than ours? Remember, the west is beginning to print funny money to subsidize their consumers’ purchase of wildly inflated natural gas (Britain, 150 billion pounds). Pretty damn funny. Anything over cost is better than burning it, but the capacity to liquify additional gas for export by ship is limited to just a few percentage points of what used to go to Europe. According to a posted link above, China is going to pay in Yuan or rubles. Still better than nothing, but China is driving harder and harder bargains.
Let’s see if China ends up owning all or most of Gazprom in a couple of years, at a fire sale price.
Maybe China will have to approve whoever replaces Putin, as behind the scenes kingmaker.

The bulk of Putin’s offensive is by Russian troops, not dpr or lpr.
Ukrainians have got the Russians to retreat from north of Kyiv and now from the north east and south of the country.

If the Ukrainians didn’t have a chance against Putin’s army, then how come Putin’s army retreated from north of Kyiv and is now retreating from the north east?
