Watched it and it wasn’t bad. Not great, but not bad. The story was a little slow, but the series is just starting. It should improve. Visually it’s really good.
And I’m a huge Tolkien fan. Read the Hobbit for the first time in sixth grade, and the Lord of the Rings in eighth grade (1979). I’m as picky as they come when it comes to Middle-earth, and it was OK.
