At FR we joked about those 100% crap degrees, BUT you know what. Many of those who got “studies” degrees are now university administrators. Trough feeders. Feeding at the .edu trough and the state government troughs.

Way too many in government jobs & thus dictating the lives/way of life for others .... you mentioned ‘state’ and I would add ‘federal’. BTW, whatever happened to “common sense”? A lot of what is going on just defies common sense (& logic). Genetic issue? ... that gene has been deleted from a good portion of humanity? TDS wiped it out? Indoctrination in schools suppresses it to the point of non-existence? It’s gotten so bad that I find myself not including such people in my circle of friends/acquaintances - family I have chosen to put up with, but fortunately, there are only a couple thus afflicted and it’s not so bad they’re totally off their rockers .... yet.
Some of the smartest, “best” people I know, those that are intelligent, thoughtful, wise, can be relied on .... have a large amount of common sense as the foundation of their “thinking”. For those without common sense or a much reduced capacity, the shenanigans of the Progressives and/or our current ‘government’ seem to be more acceptable & they are more easily influenced in ways that again, defy common sense.
