You beat me to it. However, I will say that the FBI has a premiere public relations department. To this day most people erroneously respect it.
In DEC 2019, Lindsey Graham tells Face the Nation that if Giuliani has any info or evidence on Hunter or Joe Biden - he should bring it to the Judiciary Committee that he runs.
Weeks later, Giuliani goes on TV and Radio - and says, I have the hard drive. There are crimes on it that implicate Joe, too. This is approx 11 months before the Election.
Graham goes back on Face the Nation, they remind him of what he said on National TV roughly 35 days earlier.
Graham says he went to AG Barr and the Intel Chairman and voiced his concerns that this hard drive is Russian Disinformation, and he said Giuliani should give whatever he has to the Dept of Justice (FBi).
He was asked again, so you don’t want the hard drive anymore? Lindsey Graham replied quickly, No - because “I think Russia is playing us like a Fiddle.”
