Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s home was targeted in a “swatting” call for a second time in two nights, police in Rome, Georgia, confirmed on Thursday.

“Officers responded once again to Mrs. Greene’s home and confirmed this was a second false report,” Rome PD said in a statement provided to Rolling Stone. Greene earlier on Thursday announced that she had been swatted again following an initial swatting early Wednesday morning at her home in Rome, Georgia.

I suspect law enforcement in Rome want to find out who is doing this. They are going to be very careful and look at this from all angles. The local LEOs support Greene so they aren’t going to go in guns-ablazing. But, I suspect they will be watching for some type of trap for Greene or them.

Yes, the locals really do want to find out. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation might be helpful, as long as they aren’t too connected to the crooked RINO governor.

Normally, yes. But FBI, DOJ, etc., have the ability to screw around with phone numbers so what shows up in a data dump might not be the true number.

And if the calls truly were initiated by TPTB, which they probably were, there’s no way local LEO will get correct info.

Ideally. But I watch and read a lot of true crime and it isn’t that hard to find out who bought a burner phone.

The manufacturer knows what devices go to which vendors. The vendor is contacted to start the investigation. If the purchaser is dumb enough to use a credit card, it’s pretty much over.

Buying with cash makes it harder. But with cameras everywhere now people can be identified. Even if in disguise, cameras on the street show cars and license plates. They also can “follow” someone walking from a distance using street cameras.

But no burner phone is necessary if the call is coming from the Eight Floor of the Hoover Building.
